 Rights Respecting Schools Award

SSPP is a twice-accredited Rights Respecting Gold Award School.

 
This award is a Unicef UK programme that aims to put children’s rights at the heart of schools in the UK.  It aims to help embed children’s rights in their ethos and culture to improve well-being and develop every child’s talents and abilities to their full potential.

  • As noted on the newsletter for a number of weeks, plus the school calendar and Google Classrooms - there are two music performances this week. One is for Year 6 parents and one for Year 3 parents.
  • Please see the attached letter for a response to a recent article about the ranking of schools' performances in the Borough.
  • There will be a meeting for Year 6 parents (and pupils) straight after school on Friday 24th January. The focus of this meeting will be on the SATs which take place in May.
  • The Ofsted Report from our recent visit has now 'gone live' and can be shared with our parents and the wider community. Please take the time to visit the 'Ofsted' section on our website (under the 'Our School' tab).
  • Parents, if you have a child in KS2, can you please direct them to complete the pupil survey which has been shared via a link on their Google Classroom.
