 Rights Respecting Schools Award

SSPP is a twice-accredited Rights Respecting Gold Award School.

 
This award is a Unicef UK programme that aims to put children’s rights at the heart of schools in the UK.  It aims to help embed children’s rights in their ethos and culture to improve well-being and develop every child’s talents and abilities to their full potential.

Latest News

  • Please note, World Children's Day (and our dress up day), is on Thursday 20th November (not Wednesday as noted on the letter on Google Classroom).
  • Please see the relevant section of our website contained in the link below, for a letter and application form to become a parent governor at our wonderful school.
  • We are looking for your generous annual donations to our Harvest collection. These can include non-perishable foods such as tinned items or dried items (pasta, cereal). Toiletries are also most welcome.
  • To avoid confusion, our 'Yellow Day' for Young Minds on Friday, is a non-uniform day. Children can wear something yellow and donate their 50p for the right to do so.
  • Next Friday (10th October) we are celebrating World Mental Health Day by coming together in yellow to make the world a brighter place.
