Children can come to school wearing a brightly coloured coat or jacket or accessorize their uniform with an illuminant arm band or something similar to mark Dayglow Day.
The aim of the day is to encourage children to Be Bright and Be Seen when they are out and about to make them more visible to drivers and prevent road accidents, especially in the coming weeks as the evenings are getting darker.
