Pupils pick up Gold and Silver Medals in Redbridge Mini Games.26 May 2016 (by adminuser) |
Some 35 pupils competed in the event on Wednesday at Redbridge Sports Centre winning Gold in the WRS event - a race where competitors use different parts of their body to slide along a track and be the first to hit the red button at the end.
The Year 5 and Year 6 pupils took part in a range of sports including football, badminton, squash, tri-golf, basketball and WRS. As a school we competed well across all events; winning silver in the badminton and gold for an individual event in WRS. The children were complimented by other schools on their behaviour throughout the day - well done!
