Pupils to learn about saving animals in a special workshop on Monday26 January 2017 (by adminuser) |
The PDSA (People's Dispensary for Sick Animals) will be delivering an assembly and special training sessions on a range of pet-related topics on Monday 30th January.
Although the sessions are free, the PDSA will be selling merchandise at the end of the day. If your child wants to purchase any items, they must come along with you to the shop at the end of the day. Please DO NOT send your child in with any money. The items are priced between 50p and £2 and include branded wristbands and stationery items, as well as mini soft toys.
The PDSA was opened by Maria Dickin, CBE, in November 1917 after witnessing the terrible state of animal health. It carries out lifesaving work in communities across the UK – providing free treatment to pets in need and promoting responsible pet ownership, through their wide-ranging education programme. The charity believe that every pet deserves to live a happy and healthy life and they work tirelessly to improve pets’ lives through prevention, education and treatment.
