Soccer Aid for Unicef on Friday 8th June6 June 2018 (by adminuser) |
On Friday we will be hosting our first ever Soccer Aid for Unicef. Children must come to school on the day dressed in full school uniform as they will be having their class photographs taken first.
They should bring their soccer aid kit into school in a bag and they will be able to get changed into it after their class photograph has been taken. The children can bring with them a football kit to wear or any sportswear. They are not allowed to bring astroturfs or football boots. They can only bring trainers to wear.
The Soccer Aid Playground Challenge will encourage pupils to kick, bounce or carry a football around an obstacle course designed by the School Council in the playground, whilst wearing their own sportswear of their choice. In return for a small donation of £1, your child will join the rest of the school (including staff!) in the Soccer Aid Playground Challenge to help Unicef's vital work for children in danger. To top it off, the UK government will match every £1 our school raises.
By taking part in this important event, we can help Unicef provide life-saving food and vaccines, as well as life-changing education and support for children around the world.
